Deeply concerned by the effects that the media implicates on children with the messages it advertises.
Realizing that the minds of children are being manipulated by the images that are being transmitted via the media industry and it impacts them psychologically and physically.
Encouraging parents to be aware of what their children are watching. Also for government to enforce and ensure the laws already in order that directly target children.
Affirming that subliminal messages in the media cause negative out comes on children.
Stressing that parents set locks on certain tv shows.
Taking into account there are commission in place today that are trying to protect children being directly targeted by the media.
1. Recommends parental guidance and blocking of shows that have a parental guidance notice in the beginning of the show and limits the time a child spends watching tv.
2. The government needs to make laws to ensure that the media the advertisements that they create protect the right of the children in the public. Kids do not understand what a subliminal message is and what it could do to them, so limiting the type of messages the media shows could only be done by the government and expose what they try to do with their advertisements.
3. Declares that the media not portray any unhealthy eating diets with the association of toys or cartoon images on their advertising that encourages a purchase.
